11:30 AM  - 1:20 PM
Thursday Nov 8, 2018
Parking Lot, Leonard Center athletic & wellness complex

Registration for this event will open on October 25 at 8:00 AM

Join us in a career-oriented visit to The Museum of Russian Art. This will be an opportunity to learn from staff in diverse roles in a member-suppported non-profit museum located in south Minneapolis. They offer a range of events and offerings bringing various Russian art, history and culture to the community. The museum has hosted a number of Macalester interns over the years and this visit will help you learn about internship opportunities.

This event is most appropriate for first-years, sophomores, juniors, and seniors majoring in the arts and humanities and those interested in museum work.

What is a MacExplore? MacExplores seek to help you answer questions like: Where can your Macalester degree take you? What do people s do all day, every day in their jobs? What do different work spaces and cultures feel like and what might be right for me? Where can I work and live out my values? MacExplores are designed to help you imagine broadly as you consider your post-Macalester future.

We know this is a busy time of year for you, so before registering, please be sure you are available and committed to the entire time frame and date of this trip.

We appreciate Macalester students' concerns for both food and financial resources. Since this is a catered event, we ask that you let us know if your plans change. If you cannot attend, please call us at 651-696-6384 or email at least 24 hours before the event.
