Join the Kofi Annan Institute for Global Citizenship, with support from The Mellon Foundation as Dr. Nirmala Erevelles gives a talk titled "Empire's Other Other: Feminist Disability Studies in Transnational Context."

Prof. Erevelles is a professor of social and cultural studies in education at the University of Alabama. Her teaching and research interests lie in the areas of disability studies, critical race theory, transnational feminism, sociology of education, and postcolonial studies. The talk will be moderated by Professor Joan Ostrove from the Psychology Department.
