Alumni Connect Chat with Chris Pascone ’01 on Using Russian to Make a Career in Professional Soccer on Thursday, April 5, 11:45 am-1:00 pm in Art Commons 102 as part of the 26th Annual Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian Conference.

Come hear how Pascone's experiences as a Russian Studies major at Macalester shaped his international career. After earning a Master’s in Russian Language and Literature from St. Petersburg State University, Chris went on to work for a Russian newspaper, an investment bank, and the renowned soccer team FC Zenit as the club’s English website editor. This summer, Chris will be working for FIFA’s Marketing Operations department in St. Petersburg, and will attend seven World Cup matches.
